I arrived at the SPAC Carillon Gallery early in the morning and felt an overwhelming sense of emotion. As I looked at the art I went through all the emotions, but one painting spoke to me in an emotional and spiritual way. 2.        What does the picture look like; can you describe it in your own words? I will attach the painting in the best way I can even though I did not see a name I felt very drawn to it. At first glance all I saw where a woman well the bottom half. I could clearly remember the woman wearing a light blue underwear. I believe in the time she painted the piece she was experiencing sexism and a miscarriage and she felt alone and empty. She turned all of those feelings to an art piece that will live on for ever.

I believe that this painting is the definition of outside art. I believe that it is outside art because of the shapes and the fantasy shapes of the “person” in the painting.

I truly believe in the saying “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” what we see and feel in the moment of admiration is Art. Who’s to say there’s a right or wrong way to express Art?

Art is the expressing ones emotions when words cannot.
